Words of Wisdom

A stitch in time saves nine--- Friday night dream Saturday morning told, Sure to come true before it's nine days old.--- You've made your bed now sleep in it.---- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.---- A penny for your thoughts.--- Lets make hay while the sun shines.--- Woeful waste makes woeful want.--- Better late than never.--- Don't burn your bridges behind you.--- The early bird gets the worm.--- It's usually better to go by your first impression.--- If you can't stand the heat, don't go in the kitchen.--- Why cut your nose off to spite your face.--- A watching pot never boils.--- If you point your finger at someone there will be three pointing back at you.--- If any of you are free of sin, let him cast the first stone.--- The love for money is the root of all evil.--- Don't cast your pearls before swine.--- Blood is thicker than water.--- When in Rome do as the Romans do.--- It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to go to heaven.--- If you can't think of something nice to say about someone, don't say anything.--- The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.--- If you have faith that of a mustard seed, you can move mountains.--- Sometimes small things come in small packages.--- What ye shall sew, so shall ye reap.--- A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.--- You can't learn to swim until you get in the water.--- Don't put the cart before the horse.--- There is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.--- There is no fool like an old fool.--- Curiosity killed the cat.--- Feed a cold starve a fever.--- He's blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.--- He's blind as a bat.--- Don't count your chickens before they hatch.--- Which came first, the egg or the chicken?--- Speak softly, but carry a big stick.--- Don't cry over spilled milk.--- It's better to have loved and lost, than never loved at all.--- What on earth are you doing for heaven's sake.--- You don't miss the water until the well goes dry.--- A penny saved is a penny earned.--- The bigger they are the harder they fall.--- The proof is in the pudding.--- He's got a hitch in his getalong.--- Don't judge a man until you've walked in his shoes.--- Brains over brawn.--- Mind over matter.--- Most people only look up when they are flat on their back.--- What's good for the goose is good for the gander.--- Stuborn as a mule.--- Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.--- A picture is worth a thousand words.--- You can't have your cake and eat it too.--- Rome wasn't built in one day.
